THE STORY SO FAR

Repton first embarked on its international adventure in 2007, with the opening of Repton Dubai – a K-12 school in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai. As the first British school ‘brand’ to establish itself in the UAE, Repton were pioneers - soon to be followed by other UK schools. Today, Repton Dubai is consistently rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Dubai schools regulator and is known as one of the most prestigious and successful schools in the UAE, boasting a strong academic pedigree and university destinations.

2013 saw a significant expansion in the UAE, with the opening of Foremarke Dubai (now renamed as Repton Al Barsha), as well as an Early Years and Key Stage One school in Abu Dhabi, now known as Abu Dhabi ‘Rose’ Campus. 2013 also saw the formal establishment of the Repton Family of Schools (formerly known as Repton International Schools Limited or RISL), drawing together an experienced and specialist team to oversee the further expansion of Repton into new countries.

In 2016, the Abu Dhabi senior school, ‘Fry’ Campus was opened. Between them, Rose and Fry campuses currently educate over 1600 pupils.

In September of 2020, the first Repton school in China was opened, in the beautiful coastal city of Xiamen.

In September 2021, Repton Cairo opened in the Mivida community of New Cairo, to be followed by a second school, in western Cairo, currently planned for 2023. Other schools are planned for Bulgaria and Qatar.

VOICES of REPTON

  • “Everything from the care that is taken of each child in house to the house music, drama and sport events means they really feel part of a family.”

    Repton Parent
  • “Repton considers pastoral care to be a priority. The wellbeing of pupils is vital if they are to have a positive learning experience. Perhaps it is one of the strongest parts of Repton’s education.”

    Repton Parent
  • “There is honestly nothing I would want to change about Repton. I’m in my last year now and have enjoyed every single day of my five years at Repton and wouldn’t change a thing. I really love the busyness of Repton; some might say the days are quite long but I think that’s great as there is no way one can feel bored or that you’re wasting time.”

    Pupil
  • “My Latin teacher and Tutor has been very helpful, not only in teaching but in helping all aspects of my academic approach as well as giving me ongoing advice and support throughout my Oxbridge application.”

    Pupil
  • “Teachers rotate which houses they eat in and it was evident from our unforced conversations over fish and chips and treacle pudding (yum) with the delightful boys in School House that they’re well accustomed to entertaining whoever lands at their table.”

    Good Schools Guide, 2022
  • “Parents love the formalities, heritage and traditions of Repton but equally value that ‘it’s not posh’.”
