SEVEN REPTON NETBALL PLAYERS SELECTED FOR PERFORMANCE SQUADS
Seven Repton pupils have taken the next step in their netball careers, earning selection for performance squads with Nottingham Forest Netball and Loughborough Lightning across U15, U17 and U19 age groups.
Ella M R and Indi M have both progressed to U19 level, with Ella selected for Nottingham Forest and Indi joining Loughborough Lightning. Jasmine S has secured a place in the Nottingham Forest U17 squad, while Jasmine M has been selected for the Nottingham Forest U17 Player Development Programme (PDP).
At U15 level, Lottie R, Susie R and Trudie L have all earned places at the Nottingham Forest Performance Centre, marking an exciting step in their development.
Laura Turner, Head of Netball at Repton, praised the players' dedication and the opportunities their selections present for the wider netball programme.
“We’re delighted for all the girls. It’s amazing to have so many players competing at such a high level, and it’s a brilliant showcase for netball at Repton.
“Having players competing at higher levels can only strengthen netball at the School, inspiring others to get involved and raising the standard across the programme. Our partnership with Nottingham Forest Netball, and seeing Repton players progress through their pathways, is hugely positive for the future of the sport here.”
These achievements reflect the continued development of netball at Repton, which has become one of the School’s fastest-growing sports for girls. Through its partnership with Nottingham Forest Netball, a franchise competing in the Netball Super League, Repton provides opportunities for players to benefit from high-level coaching and access to established performance pathways.
With seven pupils now representing performance programmes across three age groups, their selections are a testament to both their individual commitment and the strength of netball at Repton. The School looks forward to following their progress throughout the season.
